Sunday turned out to be quite a day - hung out with mad_piper and LJ ex-pat monarchprime for a while and then drove down to Lakewood to pay a massage visit to wendiegoers and kibbutz with sabrina_pandora. My AC went out earlier this week, you might have read. It worked one night (in which it gave me a damn upper respiratory cold) and then froze up. I have been sick all week (finally getting over it) and staying where its cool (work, mad_piper's, the mall, etc). Saturday I had a great massage session with Lt. Scott psifire. I say great instead of good because it really seemed to be just what the doctor ordered for him and he's still crowing about it a day later which makes me very happy.

Well last night was a good time with good friends, even if we were missing a cub or two. :P

Blender drinks and Star Munchkin Fu (Star Munchkin + Munchkin Fu) led inevitably to a rollicking game of Drunchkin - followed by tipsy massages for all and then we had to call it a night.

Well the date last night / this morning went just great, but about noon I noticed it seemed a tad warm.  Sure enough - no cool air coming out of the vents.  The condenser motor outside was not running, just the central vent fan.  Argh!  Even with the ceiling fans and floor fans, its still too warm in here for enjoyment, so I'm running away from ( Read more... )
